Dear Visionary Leader,

Revival is coming to North America! As much of the global church is experiencing, so also will a sweeping, weeping and reaping revival come to the United States and Canada. The North American Church has sent missionaries around the world, and from around the world the Lord is sending missionaries to the North American Church. We will see the doubling of the size of the North American Church, moving from 400,000 local churches to more than 800,000 churches, in our lifetime.

Jesus taught us to stop enduring religion and start enjoying revival. Christ said to stop enduring stagnation and start enjoying real salvation. Our Lord admonished us to turn the rituals of religion into the river of revival. Do you want to be an “average” Christian or a “normal” Christian? The “average” Christian we find around us today, the “normal” Christian we find in the Word of God. Should we desire to be a container or a channel? Should we desire to be a reservoir or a river? How we answer these questions determines our future.

One morning, Jesus stood in the middle of a religious crowd as a ceremony was coming to a close. The priest had just taken a pitcher filled with water and poured it upon the altar symbolizing salvation. The people had danced and shouted and now they were making their way home. Jesus cried aloud, “If any man is thirsty, let him come unto me and drink and he that believes in me as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

Jesus knew that on the next day, the people would have a memory but they would not have a reality. They would have gone through a religious form, but they would not know the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Jesus Christ cried aloud to get the attention of that religious crowd, and He cries out to us today. If we plan to be a part of His revival, we must realize the secret, the source and the supply of revival...

Here are three examples:
Dr. Walter Kaiser teaches all sixty-six books of the Bible in the “Preaching” section in Ministry Resources on Billion.tv. God always has a people, a place, and a promise. Dr. Prince Guneratnam, senior pastor of Calvary Church in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, teaches on “God’s Kingdom My Priority: The Purpose of Living.” We will only hit the target if we are focused on our aim. It does not matter if we hit the target only to find that we aimed at the wrong thing. The leader must adhere to the priority or focus of expanding the Kingdom of God. That is our purpose in this world.
Pastor Suliasi Kurulo is the founding pastor of the World Harvest Centre in Suva, Fiji. In the last fifteen years, his church has planted more than 1,500 churches in more than 110 nations. Pastor Suli has trained teams to go into some of the most challenging regions of the world to fulfill the Great Commission. Listen and learn how to move a congregation out of the pew and into the harvest field.

PRAY FOR SRI LANKAN HARVEST FIELDS
“God has been so good. He has open the doors for us to move inside the Vanni area and preach His gospel to people who look for peace and happiness after this devastating war. We desperately need your prayers and support for our ministry work, as other religions are making their ways very fast in the North. We thank God for great people like you who have been a great strength and support. We as a Church and family are daily praying for you and for all the great work you are doing for His kingdom!”—Pastor Shanthan

I took the Pepsi Challenge
New Coke
Thirst Test

Have you ever taken the “Thirst Test”? In 1975, Pepsi started asking thousands of people to take the “Pepsi Challenge” to compare the taste to Coca Cola. Because Pepsi is slightly sweeter than Coke, most people chose the sweeter taste. On April 23, 1985, Coca Cola re-sponded by bottling a sweeter formula, only to fail miserably. The “New Coke” fiasco has fueled marketing classes ever since. The Lord did not challenge us to a
“Taste Test.” The Lord challenged us to a “Thirst Test”:

  1. Have you ever loved the Lord more in your past than you do today?
  2. Do you compare your spiritual life to others or do you compare your life to the Lord?
  3. Do you try to solve life’s greatest challenges through the arm of the flesh or through the power of the Holy Spirit?
  4. Does your greatest joy come from pleasing the Lord?
  5. Have you won someone to Jesus Christ in the last year? In the last month?
  6. Do you study the Bible only for sermon development of for spiritual growth?
  7. Are you more concerned what others think first about you than what the Lord knows about you?

Let’s take the “Thirst Test” instead of the “Taste Test.” The level of our thirst will determine the level of our satisfaction. There is revival coming all over the world. Let’s come to the Lord, drink by faith and experience a mighty river that brings healing to the driest places of our lives. Blessings!
