Dear James:

Thank you for the leadership, passion and shepherding care that you and your team provide.  I knew from our first meetings that this partnership would be more than just a cohort of like-minded leaders who hoped to make some difference in the world.  This has grown into one of the most embracing missional partnerships representing the diversity of the Body of Christ in church history.

In this regard, James, I want to be sure you and the team there closely connect with the primary members of my own team at the Central Offices of The Foursquare Church.  Mike Larkin, our global missions director; Glenn Burris, our U.S. general supervisor, Jim Scott, our COO and director of our U.S. Church Planting Initiative; and Art Gray, our U.S. director of urban and multicultural ministries.  Each of these is vitally involved, and passionate about our work as part of the initative.

Our vision is clearly set with you on the 1.8 billion people who have never heard of Christ.  We agree we must, together, find ways to understandably share the Good News with and to serve these for who Jesus died and rose again!  We are being brought together around the world to strategize these ways to meet the myriad of needs and to embrace the countless opportunities that this challenge represents.  It blesses me when I see our brothers and sisters as the Bride of Christ respond to the clarion call to be ready for the return of Jesus through the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

The Foursquare Church stands with you and serves as one of your number!  Our Executive Team and other Foursquare leaders have attended past gatherings and are planning now to attend future congresses.  We are committed, as the Lord Jesus enables us, to plant our share of the five million new churches that are needed to disciple the one billion soul harvest.  We have made our church multiplication materials available for posting and we pray that they equip and empower generations of leaders all over the world.  We are praying, we are giving and we are going!
